"Three Artisans. Three Different Places. One Collection That Honors Criollo Tradition from Buenos Aires to Salta".

Fernando is 45 and lives in Tandil, Buenos Aires. For years he worked on a cattle ranch, but his free time belonged to creation: lamps, furniture, tables—anything his hands could carve from wood. One day he left the countryside and returned to his city to turn that hobby into a profession. He trained in antler and bone work in a workshop run by artisans with generations of experience. Today, seven years later, he is fully dedicated to what he has always loved.

Verónica is a master silversmith with over 15 years of experience in Salta Capital. She grew up surrounded by the Salta silversmith tradition—a fusion of Spanish colonial heritage and northwestern Argentine craftsmanship. She works silver, alpaca, and copper to create pieces that accompany everyday rituals: sharing mate, wine at dinner, a table set with elegance.

Juan lives in Greater Buenos Aires (Zona Norte). He grew up among the smell of wood and metal in his father’s mechanic workshop, where he learned the value of working with his hands. At age 30, a trip to an artisan fair in Salta changed his perspective: he was amazed by the skill of materos who turned simple gourds into works of art. Back home, he sought out masters willing to teach him and discovered his eye for detail was perfect for the craft. Today, nearly two decades later, he has become a reference in the matero trade, training new apprentices and keeping the criollo tradition alive.

A) Knife Materials:

420 Stainless Steel: Alloy designed for cutlery. Holds an edge through constant use, resists corrosion from acidic foods, ages gracefully.

Argentine Alpaca: Traditional alloy of copper (60%), nickel (20%), zinc (20%) with silver-like luster. Used on all fittings across the pieces. Doesn’t tarnish easily and polishes beautifully.

Axis Deer Antler (Patagonia): Shed naturally once a year. Unique grain and tones. Scarce due to annual cycle.

Ñandú Bone (Suri): Light yet strong, with unique natural relief. Buried 6 months for whitening. Luminous white with delicate organic lines.

Potro Bone (Pampa): Traditional gaucho material. Exceptional durability, warm feel.

B) Wine Holder Materials

Goat Horn: Extremely tough, unique shape and curve on every piece. Verónica selects each one precisely.

Stainless Steel + Alpaca: Steel base, alpaca fittings silver-soldered at 565–870 °C for permanent bonding.

C) Imperial Mate Materials:

Gourd: Naturally cured interior, hand-selected by Juan for shape, weight, and wall thickness.

Premium Leather: Full exterior lining and reinforced 4-legged base for stability and elegance.

Alpaca Ferrule & Guardapampa: Hand-chiseled traditional gaucho motifs. Same price, more meaning.

Personalized engraving on all three pieces (regular value $240) is included in this limited collection of 50 units. This collection connects three Argentine provinces in one box: Fernando’s work in Tandil, Verónica’s in Salta Capital, and Juan’s in Greater Buenos Aires. The physical map shows exactly where these pieces were born, who made them, and which inherited techniques were used.

There are no discounts because the value isn’t in the price. It’s in the 6 months the ñandú bone spends underground, in the spring we wait for the deer to shed its antler, in Verónica soldering alpaca at 565 °C, in Fernando engraving each blade for a full day, in Juan hand-chiseling guardapampas with designs that evoke gaucho tradition.

This is not mass production. Three artisans working in different provinces, using techniques learned from masters, not manuals. There are 50 collections because that’s the number that can be made with true excellence—not the number that can be sold quickly.
